Februar Januar Oh nein, ihr habt einen Blogbeitrag verpasst? Author Newniq. That is a real balancing act. You seem brave and vulnerable at the same time.

It makes me want to be that brave and vulnerable in my own life. Thank you for that. Please do continue, you're off to a great start already! While reading your post, before looking at the zine, I thought it would be cool if you would include one or two little illustrations, because I really love your style, but now I guess that would be way too deep inside your comfort zone.

So maybe don't do that, I guess xD Once again: Awesome. Love it. Hey friends! I will be in Cleveland for the Spring Make Event from lincoln electric.

Talk soon, Laura. Comments 6. User - 8 Jan 19 i won't be able to make it but have fun!! User - 2 Jan 19 Nice!

I'm really looking forward to Spring Make! Thank you so much for telling me about it! Are you planning on any collaborations?

What are you loving the most right now? It could be a tool, a video, an idea for a project, something you made, a song, anything at all.

As always, only answer what you want to! User - 28 Dec 18 What's your can't live without tool? What is your favourite working material, hardwood, softwood, steel, brass, aluminium etc?

Would you ever revisit a project to make it better now that you have more resources and time? I have thousands of questions but I'll keep it short.

User - 30 Dec 18 Sorry I can't make it today, but I'll watch when it comes out on re-runs! User - 29 Dec 18 Hello, I'm in Köln for holidays.

Tomorrow I will see you from the same city!! User - 30 Dec 18 What was your biggest non-making disappointment of ? How long did it get you down for?

User - 28 Dec 18 Hooray! User - 29 Dec 18 Have you used the Bridgeport mill much yet? Any specific projects planned with it? How is the CNC coming along?

Do you see yourself using it a lot more? A recommended addition to a shop? User - 30 Dec 18 Laura, what skills did you develop the most in ? What skills do you want to work on for ?

User - 30 Dec 18 I love that you reuse so many materials! Is that something that's common in Germany in general? User - 30 Dec 18 I think you can weld pretty well and i like projects with electrics.

For me , things like the happy machine or your boat were just awesome! I love to see things that are so cool! Can not wait to see more in !

Stay hungry Trixi???? User - 30 Dec 18 For the shirts, there is definitely a demand for them from your supporters, so maybe auction them off They are eating the cost and time, and everyone makes mistakes.

Anyway, my question for you is about how you started out. What tools did you have first? What materials were you working with?

What were you making? Thanks so much for everything you do, you rock! User - 29 Dec 18 What are you looking forward to in ?

Who inspired you this year? User - 8 Dec 18 ooh, nice. User - 8 Dec 18 Great Idea. I like to see you talking more to the camera.

What are these red blinking light in the back of your workshop. User - 8 Dec 18 Ah. Nothing secret. User - 8 Dec 18 Great idea, Laura!

Good to see Smudo giving it a test drive too! I want to see what ideas you come up with for that seat tensioner device. That thing sounds crazy!

User - 8 Dec 18 See what I mean? Great ideas just leap out of your head! Oh and since you're a day early on your video release, I hope you get a nice day off tomorrow!

User - 9 Dec 18 Beautiful video as always! Especially love your choice of music. User - 8 Dec 18 Looks like you have to get the second seat from that car, too.

The first chair is already taken User - 9 Dec 18 I find myself wondering what we need to do to make heating your shop affordable.

Love the music!! User - 8 Dec 18 Great idea and it was a pleasure to see so much of Smudo this week :. User - 8 Dec 18 You should get another one and strip out the elements for a heated dog bed!

Of course have a non-heated option as well. User - 9 Dec 18 Nice welds! And nice project - great idea!! User - 8 Dec 18 What a treat on this cold and rainiy afternoon!

Do you have a control switch wired to the chair or is it just on and off? User - 8 Dec 18 Instead of a potentiometer, look for a power supply with multiple outputs, 12V for high, 8.

What electrode do you use? User - 8 Dec 18 ????? User - 9 Dec 18 This is such a cool hot project! You'll have to let us know if Smudo ever lets you use it.

User - 8 Dec 18 Awesome project! That super strong hair styling chair base is perfect for your chair. Really great idea!

User - 27 Nov 18 I love it! Any chance you've got time for an LA meetup? I'm here and I'd love to meet and hang out with you!

User - 27 Nov 18 The design rocks! Also, I live in L. If you have any additions to it just yell! User - 27 Nov 18 I like that attitude.

When will the shirts be available? User - 27 Nov 18 Cool. User - 28 Nov 18 if only 'favours' was not using the American spelling :.

User - 27 Nov 18 Awesome new design and very cool that you figured the environmentally friendly version too!

I love the message, the design, and the thought behind it all. User - 27 Nov 18 Great design--I've admired that sentiment on the wall in the background of your videos for a while.

Either charge full price or do it for free. If you charge full price both parties are invested in the project. If you do it for free you can walk away at any time.

So prrrretty!! User - 27 Nov 18 Awesome!! I really like the design, but I like the story behind the new shirts even more.

Thank you for spending the time and effort on figuring all that out! User - 27 Nov 18 Cool design! Will definitely grab one of those.

Also, what was that incredible Aladdin's cave you were in yesterday on your IG story?! User - 27 Nov 18 Added to my wish love it.

User - 27 Nov 18 Awesome, I love it. User - 27 Nov 18 Great design! User - 1 Dec 18 love it Saw you at the airport as we were both waiting for the security guys to check our luggage ; It was an bit of a stressful and awkward moment so I remembered a quote from Adam Savage to respect the makers personal space :D I like the phrase.

User - 27 Oct 18 Really well put together! Liked your interview technique, liked your insights to his work and his responses to that. Feels like something I would think about and watch again.

User - 27 Oct 18 I liked the new format. It seems like everyone has at least one really great story to tell and I always value the opportunity to hear them.

I think it would be doing a disservice to your subjects if it was too tightly edited, plus I like having the time to get a sense of the people from their body language and interactions with the person interviewing them.

User - 27 Oct 18 I dig it! The length is good, great follow-up questions, all around great producing. I liked the setup of one static, one handheld camera, though I think a longer lens on the static could make it more intimate of an interview.

Excited for the new series! User - 28 Oct 18 Very good. Perfect natural conversation. User - 27 Oct 18 So good!

User - 27 Oct 18 Agree - like the format and the length was good. Look forward to more. User - 28 Oct 18 Interview of someone living their purpose, by someone doing the same!

Love it : :. User - 28 Oct 18 Oh Laura…. That, mixed with interview footage is a relatively new format. Many of us know Jimmy and know the answers to the obvious questions.

I think the key here is that, for me anyway, I watched not to see Jimmy but to see how YOU were going to present him.

User - 27 Oct 18 I love this format! I think the length is good, the questions were interesting, the interaction between you and Jimmy was great and we got to see Jimmy get a bit enthusiastic when he starts talking about what he wants to do.

The title makes haha a lot of sense and leaves it open for each person's point of view. Thumbs up!! I wanted to do this for a long time too here in Hungary.

User - 28 Oct 18 I know your challenge on this one was getting Jimmy to talk about stuff his audience hadn't already heard, and I think you did a great job navigating that.

I was thinking today that you might have a bigger challenge in the future with guests who are less well known or practiced at speaking.

In those cases, I suspect you'll have to focus on their work - perhaps even diving down into their design process or problem solving with specific projects - so that all of us viewers who may not already be familiar with the person you're talking to can get to see what's so interesting about them.

In other words, part of the story you're telling will be why your viewer should know about this person's work. How I Built This podcast does a pretty good job with this - I often find myself listening to interviews with people I've never heard of who built companies that I don't really care about like Lululemon workout clothes company or Melissa and Doug toy company because the stories the interviewer gets the people to tell are really compelling, and they talk about why they were passionate about what they were doing and how their life experience taught them what they needed to know along the way.

Does that make sense? User - 28 Oct 18 Great title! Love the format, 2 cameras plus B-roll I watched every minute of it!

Maybe minute range. To me that adds some authentic feel. This is going to be an awesome series! Thanks for the sneak peek! User - 27 Oct 18 Awesome idea!

Always great to hear stories from makers. It will be great to see more stories from other parts of the world.

I live hearing about what influences people and where they got their beginnings. User - 27 Oct 18 Love the format and idea, always nice to hear people share stories, it will be an awesome series!

User - 27 Oct 18 Jimmy seems like a good place to start. User - 27 Oct 18 Love it! Really relaxed, just enjoying spending time with you and Jimmy.

A perfect format in my view. Should be a great series, thanks for the chance to provide you feedback. User - 28 Oct 18 I agree - great format.

Your love for detailed up-and-close personal shots almost transports me right next to Jimmy at the bandsaw. Well done!

And yeah - despite him being super open he of course was one of the hardest ones you could pick. But then - he does seem approachable almost all the time and he is very experienced to bring across the real Jimmy - so The name also works very well for me.

Could have been an excellent channel name - thanks for burning it. User - 27 Oct 18 Great idea, Laura. Really like this format!

User - 28 Oct 18 Really liked this interview. Wonder who you will talk to next I failed User - 16 Aug 18 The video is still unavailable for us.

I think you have to make it available but not link it to your channel. User - 16 Aug 18 I think it's a good video. It shows that even the best of us have bad days and make mistakes sometimes.

I also think it's good that you saw the project through to the end. It's too easy to just quit when you think something is going badly and not risk the failure.

User - 16 Aug 18 As a computer programmer, I am this moment looking at five days worth of programming that only teaches me that the current approach was wrong and that I still need a few days to write the correct one.

That happens all the time; the first version teaches you the constraints that need to be met, the next version is the one that adheres to these constraints.

User - 16 Aug 18 this version fail, next will works better! There is no shame in learning. One of your best videos, Laura.

User - 16 Aug 18 I can see it :. User - 16 Aug 18 Same here - video unavailable. User - 16 Aug 18 Failing is okay it part of learning to get better.

User - 16 Aug 18 Really awesome that you're putting this out there. Our last video had so much failure and we initially had doubts but I'm glad we went for it.

User - 16 Aug 18 In our video we kept on beating our head against the wall in a way till it worked But the message seems to be going over well.

It's performing better than our last 10 videos, but that could also be a whole bunch of other factors so who knows lol.

User - 16 Aug 18 Keep on failing! Be humble, be brave, be excited. User - 16 Aug 18 Yup, it's up now. Failure is part of the process. Thanks for sharing the ups and downs with us.

User - 16 Aug 18 Also, at work we push Failure as F. L - First Attempts In Learning. Makes it hurt slightly less.

User - 16 Aug 18 Exactly. All's good. And the 's' in Attempts means you have plenty of wiggle room to bugger it all up some more in the future without the shame.

User - 16 Aug 18 Oooh that's a good one Alex! User - 16 Aug 18 I'll pretend I thought of it, and thank you. Not a tattoo. User - 16 Aug 18 I think its great that you are willing to post a "fail", no one is pefect and it takes a brave person to admit this.

User - 16 Aug 18 The video is unavailable for me. I don't know what the video is yet, but I don't mind a project fail or unexpected outcome , it's part of life.

Stay awesome! User - 22 Jul 18 Thank you so much for answering all of our questions! User - 28 Jul 18 Likewise, I was a bit late to the party but watched the stream now.

Very interesting the behind-the-scenes business side of things. User - 22 Jul 18 Live stream was super awesome Laura, thanks!! User - 22 Jul 18 Didn't make the live stream but just watched it now.

It was great stream. Im guess many of us are hoping to get to a level where they could have sponsors and become a full time creator.

It would be interesting to hear what the sponsor pay and what they ask from you. And general financial situation of being a content creator.

But only if your comfortable sharing those sort of information and details. I know that I need to work a lot harder to be able for that to happen..

User - 9 Aug 18 Watching the three clips in direct succession feels somewhat weird. There's a very distinct break every time when the videos change, but it feels like it's just one video that stutters and buffers.

In other words: It feels somewhat broken. Not sure if this is your fault, or if I'm just not used to this format, yet.

User - 23 Jul 18 I wasn't able to make it to the live stream either 4am NZ time! I had a suggestion for the CNC.

Have you considered doing a collaboration with another maker that is already familiar with the technology?

I think it would be quite interesting seeing you learning to get to grips with it. I was going to suggest getting in touch with Marius Hornberger, but I see that he is studying in Kempten, which isn't exactly that close to Cologne.

User - 9 Aug 18 I don't like that they get erased after 24 hours. I understand the idea of exclusive content, but I don't really understand the current generation's disposable relationship with media.

User - 22 Jul 18 does not work for some reason error. User - 22 Jul 18 No probs :. User - 22 Jul 18 thanks! User - 9 Aug 18 Oh cool, I'm installing the app right away : have a great day Laura!

User - 22 Jul 18 Been a while since I've managed to tune in to one of your streams, will be joining in this time round! User - 22 Jul 18 Oh no that clashes with the Fools with tools 1st year birthday live stream.

Gonna borrow my wife's laptop so I can watch both? User - 22 Jul 18 Same here man! User - 22 Jul 18 Oh well User - 22 Jul 18 Looking forward to catching this one.

User - 22 Jul 18 NP. User - 17 Mar 19 Good? User - 22 Jul 18 I really love the idea of a tiny house and big workshop, if it wasn't for my wife I would of done it already.

Do you see yourself staying there or a similar setup for the rest of your life? User - 22 Jul 18 Hey Laura.

I wondered if you could tell us about the folding work tables you have in your shop. They look a lot more sturdy than most!

User - 17 Jul 18 Cool! How's the new motorcycle? User - 22 Jul 18 Yay! How is Schrott or Not going? Any news? User - 17 Jul 18 For those that don't know, you can Google "6pm germany time to local" and have it converted by the Great and Powerful Oz.

Or a computer. Probably a computer. User - 22 Jul 18 keep us updated about the tiny boat please :D. User - 18 Jul 18 pm Eastern.

User - 22 Jul 18 hello Laura can you make a 3D printer video? User - 17 Jul 18 I know you've said in the past that you don't really plan out your builds prior to starting them.

Can you mentally envision a finished product before you start it? Is there any improvising or trial and error we don't necessarily get insight into through your videos?

User - 17 Jul 18 Awesome! Won't be able to watch the stream on Sunday, but I'd love to know what fun projects you have planned for the near future.

User - 24 Jun 18 thanx for this. User - 21 Jun 18 Awesome as usual Laura! User - 21 Jun 18 Awesome work as usual Laura - now you just need to go on a long camping trip!!

User - 22 Jun 18 This is legitimately dope! Thanks for the early viewing!! User - 22 Jun 18 I appreciate the way your work is both functional and attractive.

User - 21 Jun 18 Really like the hose for the propane. Always hated screwing it onto the stove. User - 21 Jun 18 I love the idea that the kirchen is an expandable extension.

Thanks for sharing it with us. User - 21 Jun 18 This is going to end up being the most tricked out camper ever isn't it? User - 22 Jun 18 Yay!

Sneaky peek for the patrons - ausgezeichnet! User - 21 Jun 18 Heck ya! Now we need drone footage of you breaking it out during a traffic jam :.

User - 21 Jun 18 Yay! An early Laura video makes the day happier! Thank you! I love how you're fitting everything into this small camper without making it feel crowded.

User - 22 Jun 18 You could install a small trivet beside the cooker so you can place the hot moka pot and such down on it :.

User - 22 Jun 18 Your camper van looks really awesome and practical Smudo seems to love it. Just don't forget to turn the gas off before going to bed :.

User - 22 Jun 18 Super cool! The rubber feet as slip preventative is such an elegant hack! Comments 8. User - 3 May 18 Can you tell me the brand of led light that you used?

User - 9 Jun 18 I found the lamps on Amazon. User - 3 May 18 Thank you! I really like the way this lamp came out. User - 3 May 18 Love your new shop lots of personality already!!!

Yes shops have personality for sure I love mine User - 3 May 18 I definitely enjoyed this and seeing how the new shop has begun to inspire you User - 3 May 18 When I first saw the turnbuckle I was like "Jeez, she's overengineering this!

I like this design a lot! User - 28 Apr 18 Brilliant. User - 28 Apr 18 Great!! I love this project and the video!

And it's so great to see you adding new things to your shop. User - 28 Apr 18 Love it nice project. See you at MakerCentral will be wearing my Laura Kampf shirt.

Kann ich bitte win autogramm auf meine arbeits leder schürtze haben? User - 28 Apr 18 Really nice project, Laura!

And I'm so glad you've finally discovered flap discs lol! Or maybe you did before, but I think this is the first time I recall seeing you use them?

User - 29 Apr 18 Fantastic video Laura! And I see your challenge with the light! On the other hand, you did a great job on that front, looked super dope no matter how you made it work, it worked out great!

User - 28 Apr 18 Great video and an awesome project. Perfect mix of functionality and style. User - 28 Apr 18 Dude.. I love the lamp itself, but it also feels like you went an extra mile on the video.

Five or six different angles for one simple step. It looks like you were surrounded by an entire film crew! And I love how you already look right at home in this new space.

I'm excited to see what you'll do with all that room for growth. User - 29 Apr 18 Thought exactly the same!

User - 28 Apr 18 Nice project.

Also machte sie sich selbstständig. Dann begann sie, Videos von ihren wöchentlichen Werkstatt-Experimenten hochzuladen.

Is the steel cable a structural requirement, or rather a design element? User - 28 Apr 18 Awesome project! The video was really good, fantastic shots and cool look with the lighting.

ARC magazine!? So cool. User - 28 Apr 18 Your visual style is always a treat, never mind the fixture itself. User - 15 Apr 18 Super video.

User - 15 Apr 18 great video! I love the art you have started to hang on the walls. The old table tops look awesome on the wall too!

User - 15 Apr 18 Perfect timing, I'm just about to build stairs for my own workshop User - 15 Apr 18 Agreed, the new space looks great!

Lots of light and the ability to make really wide shots now. You and Smudo are so cute too? User - 15 Apr 18 Very nice video.

I can imaging that the new space brings more fun and opportunities. Only one nitpick: the music was a bit loud so when you started talking I had to adjust my sound and again afterwards.

User - 16 Apr 18 Great video! I can't wait to see you build out this space! User - 16 Apr 18 OMG your new space is soooo sick!! Looks like a movie set made for exactly what you're doing and going to be doing.

All the Best. User - 16 Apr 18 Wie immer ein super Video! Glückwunsch zur neuen Werkstatt? User - 17 Apr 18 das würde ich auch gern wissen User - 2 Apr 18 Besten Dank super das Interview mit dir.

User - 2 Apr 18 Didn't understand a word, but it sounded like fun. User - 3 Apr 18 Danke fürs Teilen. War übrigens echt cool, Dich in Nürnberg mal persönlich zu treffen und Danke auch noch mal für den Patch.

User - 2 Apr 18 Bin immer schwer beeindruckt. User - 4 Apr 18 Short but sweet! You captured the maker spirit so well when you talked about not knowing how to do something but still trying :.

User - 2 Apr 18 Cool, hatte es im Radio verpasst :. User - 2 Apr 18 Your voice sounds completely different when you speak German.

Nice interview. User - 2 Apr 18 Cool, danke! Comments 4. User - 25 Mar 18 Very nice talented brother or shall I say talented siblings.

User - 25 Mar 18 Cool sketch! I really like the small "no smoking" touch! It seems your brother could also be a great tattoo artist ; you've got the machines to do so, where is the studio?

I'll think about my first Zippo mod too User - 26 Mar 18 Awesome sketch, I think you should do some videos with him! User - 25 Mar 18 Very cool sketch!

I really like the style of style of the drawing. Thanks for sharing it. User - 11 Mar 18 Thank you for that, Laura!

And Jimmy and Brett too! It's really nice to just chat for a little while sometimes. Even when it does include cockroach stories. User - 11 Mar 18 Thanks for the video.

I would not mind subtitles at all. I'm kind of hooked on Swedish mysteries thanks to Netflix. User - 10 Mar 18 link doesn't seem to work.

Not started yet? User - 11 Mar 18 Awesome watched the replay User - 11 Mar 18 Just watched the reply of the live stream great ideas with sharing tips.

Ich kann dir aber von erster Hand mitteilen das es seht schwer ist zwischen deutsch und englisch zu springen während du mit leuten sprichst.

Good luck. User - 10 Mar 18 Thanks Jamie. User - 10 Mar 18 The link is not working. User - 11 Mar 18 It said waiting on Laura until it was over.

Missed it. User - 8 Mar 18 Hope you feel better soon mate! Looks like you guys had a great time at the Lincoln event though.

Tell Brett if he has time he needs to make a dice this weekend too! I did a challenge in the FWT fb group. User - 9 Mar 18 Link not working but seen you on Instagram hope your having a good time with the godfather.

User - 9 Mar 18 Thanks for the message! Hope you feel better soon :. User - 9 Mar 18 servicecomment Thanks! User - 8 Mar 18 Hi Laura! Get some rest, if you can.

User - 8 Mar 18 You be sure to take care of yourself. We need you healthy! User - 8 Mar 18 I can't wait to see what you and Brett both make!

I know they will be awesome. Thanks for the quick hello! Hope you feel better real soon. Glad to see you all having a great time!

Take care. User - 9 Mar 18 Oh my, get well soon Laura! Just to say that here again, I can only support your IG Stories!

It's really cool to see more of what you're up to and how things are moving! Comments 7. User - 21 Feb 18 Very cool to feature the grain on poplar.

I really like the way poplar looks. It seems like most people only use it for parts that are hidden inside of a project, or for parts that get painted.

Nice job. User - 21 Mar 18 I'm definitely going to build one of these for my dogs We don't see much of that wood available here in Western Australia but I think Tasmanian oak would work well too.

User - 20 Feb 18 This was a very cool video to watch, enjoyed the look. User - 7 Mar 18 I really like how you made the corners on this build!

User - 19 Feb 18 I might just make a cat bed like it loved the video. User - 20 Feb 18 Too awesome User - 19 Feb 18 I really like how on the finished project the wood grain follows the side all the way around.

User - 17 Feb 18 Awesome idea! User - 17 Feb 18 An important thing to keep in mind is that you need to have personal some interest in the people you're interviewing, otherwise you won't be able to be your usual happy engaged self.

So I agree - you would have to curate the final choices of your guests. Also, as someone who would enjoy the chance to talk with you, the idea of having to win votes in order to do so makes me feel tired and sort of bummed out.

User - 17 Feb 18 I don't want to have to win votes either! User - 17 Feb 18 Hey Laura, I think it might be worth bearing in mind how much work it might be and the learning curve, so if it was me I would only do 1 a month to start with, and then if it works and you like it you can bring it to 1 a week etc.

Do you know the game "Would you rather? Usually these questions end up leading into some really fun and interesting conversations. User - 18 Feb 18 some questions we should answer before figuring that out: a who should be the target audience?

User - 18 Feb 18 its your pod cast. User - 17 Feb 18 I like to get to know the person behind the podcast.

Where did you talents come from? My Dad was a fantastic carpenter but a terrible mechanic - I'm the opposite What made you choose your career?

Was there a family member who encouraged you while someone else expected you to become a -- fill-in-the-blank.? Can you get other talented people as guest on the podcasts?

They don't all have to be Maker related but give ideas for us to think about that we could apply to out creativity.

I'm 64, have been retired for 9 years but became a self taught Mechanical and Software Engineer and had a 37 year career with one company.

I barely graduated High School but created a software process that moves money in an enclosed system or the via internet.

User - 17 Feb 18 Really love the ideas. I have no real insight in how to structure it, so it is engaging to the listeners.

Maybe in the beginning focus more on what your Patreons are working on or the part-time-maker-hustle. Personalities will shine through anyway.

And maybe don't be shy to cut it down if is not Interesting enough :. User - 17 Feb 18 Love the idea of a podcast.

Would love to get to know you better. You are a new discovery for me and I have have enjoyed binging all your stuff. User - 19 Feb 18 Sure you should try it out and as many has pointed out, its your podcast so you are in control.

Try it out for a couple of times and curate them to suit your flow and needs first, els its just for us who like the idea and you might lose passion for it which is bad and will give a low result in many ways.

My thought is that you try it out for lets say 3 times in some variations, single or group skype-podcasts, specific topics that the participants can pre-prep answers to or just a regular interview style either you asking the questions or us.

Keep it "short", min. At least from my point of view living in stockholm its perfect for commuting.

My point is that you keep it controlled a bit so you get out what you want from it. I would think the second option would work far better in this case.

It also relies on a potentially unreliable level of participation to make the decision. User - 17 Feb 18 I agree with Jamie's comment.

Frequency wise you'll have to let us know what your schedule allows. I think maybe once a month? Depends on how much editing is involved.

I was thinking the other day that it would be kind of nice to have a platform to talk to other patrons. Like a message board.

Whenever you do the live streams I read so many cool comments and ideas, but it's pretty hard to keep the conversation going. Is there a way to create a private subreddit or sth?

User - 18 Feb 18 a facebook group could work too. User - 17 Feb 18 Can't wait for the first podcast. User - 17 Feb 18 I suppose we could do some sort of poll where we pitch who we are and a little about us - other can then vote if they'd be interested in learning more about each person.

User - 17 Feb 18 I would completely disregard what anyone else said and instead go with my guts in regard to who I personally am interested in featuring or get to know better.

Not only that but also who fits my podcast format and who "works" in an interview style format. I have a little podcast experience and I have been in an interview and I can say that without a doubt I have the gift to make people switch off their audio devices.

That said it would be in your best interest to a surprise your audience, b have people on the cast who fit your interests as well as your needs and c to not bring people on the "show" who are going to make it go belly up.

There is a good reason why the making it guys rarely bring in guests. User - 17 Feb 18 You got the range of responses, didn't you! I agree that going with your gut is probably a good idea because at the end of the day you have to be interacting with the people and trying to keep an interesting conversation going.

If you're interested, that will show in the interview. I might suggest reserving the right to decline to post something if it ends up being really boring though with you in the lead I doubt that would happen!

And I wouldn't worry about defining a specific schedule upfront. Figure out how long it all ends up taking and then work timing out later. We will understand that this is just a test!

I love that you're looking to create more of a community here and I'm looking forward to it! User - 17 Feb 18 Such a nice idea!

Could be an option to link it somehow to a project you're working on or thinking about. That way you can interview someone and also have a little brainstorming or knowledge sharing.

User - 18 Feb 18 ich höre sehr gerne podcasts. User - 17 Feb 18 I'm still here for the builds - and a little concerned about the other "distractions".

Comments 2. User - 7 Feb 18 Awesomesauce! Can't wait to see the new workshop! User - 7 Feb 18 Place looks amazing, should definitely make a loft in it.

Or park the trailer in it :P. User - 7 Feb 18 Will the tiny house fit IN the new place? User - 7 Feb 18 That's great news!

Looking forward to see what you do in the space. User - 7 Feb 18 Whoa! I just saw the photos of the new space I think that is what I saw on the new Lens thing Patreon has added.

That looks incredible! Heaps of potential. Very nice! User - 7 Feb 18 Awesome. Give us a little tour when you can?

User - 8 Feb 18 That was a cool project. No one else could have designed this. It only makes sense in your tiny house.

I've never needed a shelf to be a lamp. You did, so you made it. Very cool. User - 4 Feb 18 So cool. User - 4 Feb 18 Ausgezeichnet :. So i just launched a campaign at bonfire.

User - 31 Jan 18 Nice. Laura kampf starter kit?. Will it be signed by you and Smudo? User - 31 Jan 18 Holy crap that's awesome.

BUT, you can also make this sketchbook yourself if you like. User - 31 Jan 18 That's a good point.

Lucky folks! User - 31 Jan 18 cool idea. User - 29 Jan 18 Just watched this video this morning!

Such a cool idea. I love your design skills! Congrats on the k views! User - 29 Jan 18 WOW! Great video and sketch too!

Thanks for sharing your talents with us, Great Inspiration to others User - 21 Feb 18 love this project, and im thinking of incorporating it into a bed headboard im designing.

User - 29 Jan 18 Great project might build one for my phone ot kindle. Mit welchem program hast du die zeichnung gemacht? User - 30 Jan 18 Yes I would also like to know which app, is that Concepts?

User - 30 Jan 18 I guess its procreate. User - 30 Jan 18 shame it is only on apple devices. User - 31 Jan 18 Shame it's only on Apple. Just curious what software you use to draw them?

User - 2 Feb 18 Hi Laura, thanks I'll check it out. User - 29 Jan 18 I particularly liked the brass fixings on this one.

Congrats on k in such a short time! User - 29 Jan 18 Awesome project Laura! User - 29 Jan 18 Congratulations!!

So happy to see that! User - 29 Jan 18 Congratulations! It's nice to see a really good video getting lots of views!

User - 29 Jan 18 Laura, beautiful design as usual. Sound port for the iPad maybe? Just a forstner bit dive through the first two 0. User - 29 Jan 18 OK, coffee has been administered.

Through 1. Angled to better reflect. User - 29 Jan 18 Good work! Love the sketch, congrats on the clicks, you deserve it! User - 29 Jan 18 Superb video Laura.

Have you thought about to glue in a stop for the ipad, and make the upper bracket to swivel so that you could flip down the shelf and use it as an upright stand?

Of course when nothing is on the top of the shelf? User - 22 Jan 18 for some reason i didn't get this post until Monday???? User - 21 Jan 18 Keeping our fingers crossed.

Or I guess you will be holding your thumbs in Germany :. User - 21 Jan 18 Forgot all about this and just saw the link in time to see the "Ok guys, thanks for watching!

User - 21 Jan 18 Ready and waiting! I made a sketch for you guys- i am super excited about this "evolution" of my sketches User - 21 Jan 18 I like the new sketches, i so wish i could have just a tiny bit of artistic talent!

User - 21 Jan 18 Love them User - 21 Jan 18 Sehr schön. I build a few of these when I was self employed. User - 21 Jan 18 Looks cool! This must be on your tablet?

User - 22 Jan 18 Love them. Laura what kind of wood did you use for the bed and ladder? User - 22 Jan 18 Personally I prefer the old sketches, they are more raw, natural The new one looks very cool , but also more commercial looking User - 21 Jan 18 I dig it.

User - 16 Feb 18 Lovely project. Any chance of having the loft bed sketches? User - 21 Jan 18 That is so cool!!! User - 21 Jan 18 I love the look and feel of the sketch.

Does this mean the notebook age is over? Or that notebook entries become even more rare and precious? Is the ladder broken-toe approved?

So sorry to hear you lost a bike in the storm, but so relieved that the Tiny House lives on unscathed. Not as raw as the markers and tape of the sketchbooks, but it definitely is signature Laura Kampf.

User - 21 Jan 18 Looks good. Only criticism is Can't see your logo very well. But I like the style. User - 21 Jan 18 I like this a lot!

I agree, a very nice evolutionary step! User - 21 Jan 18 :D Yeah! It looks like a page off of a book of builds, something in a super big storage with thousands of them :.

User - 22 Jan 18 I like both styles of sketches. Evolution is always fun! User - 21 Jan 18 Awesome But I think you need to find a way to get some neon colours in there or it just doesn't feel "you".

Love it though!! User - 22 Jan 18 Love the Sketch! But if i ever build it I have to remember to flip the order of steps since i'm left footed :D.

User - 21 Jan 18 It's a really cool style! User - 21 Jan 18 Sind schön aber die alte Version find ich besser Ist das so weniger Arbeit? Should just be back from the airport by then?

User - 19 Jan 18 6pm. Germany is ahead of us. User - 19 Jan 18 Best news all week! User - 19 Jan 18 Should be able to make it. I will be back from Saturday morning market by then!
